What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.
Essential cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences or filling in forms.
Analytics, without cookies
We count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the site. Our analytics tool, PostHog, runs in cookieless mode: it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, and it does not build a profile of you.
Managing cookies
Most web browsers allow some control of most cookies through the browser settings. To find out more about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set and how to manage and delete them, visit www.aboutcookies.org.
Please note that if you choose to disable cookies, some parts of this website may not function correctly.
Third-party cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies from third parties. Our analytics provider, PostHog (EU servers), receives page visits and site events without cookies. When you submit the Operating System Scorecard, we record which page on this site sent you to it, so we know which pages are useful.
Updates to this policy
We may update our Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please revisit this page regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies.
